I don't understand why there isn't flow bench test results. It makes the cfm claims look suspicious. I've used a set of Australian based Pro Stock SBF billet heads that flowed at least 500 cfm so I know what the ports look like for that type of performance in a small block head. The Ford 240/300 six cylinder racers also did a similar mod using 351C cylinder heads. Either one takes tons of work and welding and fabbing, so yeah their going to be expensive, even if they were done 40 years ago.No one, except Ford, has made an X flow head for the 300. I was told during an interview with a former Ford engineer, who worked on the 300 project, that Ford had developed an Xflow head. He said they actually put it on a very few factory trucks with a turbo, and it made more hp than a 460..
