Phoenix provides residents and visitors with more than 41,000 acres of desert parks and mountain preserve land. This includes more than 200 miles of trails and 185 parks. There are 32 community and recreation centers and eight golf courses. Thousands of people can cool off in 29 pools and learn to swim each summer.
